So it seems that this site has been down for a couple weeks. My bad. Thanks for catching that Jessie.

Boycott part II

Yesterday Jerod and I went to RockSalt before trivia to get some food and drinks. Don’t make the same mistake that we did. Apparently the employees at RockSalt just don’t care anymore. The service was horrible, our waiter was a douchebag, they messed up my burger (which resulted in me getting a mouthful of mayonnaise (barf)), we didn’t get our beers for at least 10 minutes (I have no idea why it took this long, the place wasn’t busy), the bartender was sitting down the whole time and eating (not pouring our beers), the prices were higher than it said on their website (update your website), The fish and chips included 1 piece of fish, and apparently it’s okay for waitresses to chug champagne out of the bottle in front of the customers. I could say more, but I think you get the idea. RockSalt, you’re on my shitlist.

Pho Bac

If you work downtown, and you’re in the mood for some Pho, you should check this place out. It’s on Stewart and 7th or 8th… or something like that (You’ll figure it out) . It’s right next to the greyhound station, so you know it’s classy. I ate there today for lunch and it was pretty good. I had a large bowl of beef pho and a pepsi.

Is it just me or is Taco Del Mar getting worse? I mean, they were never really great, but c’mon. The portions are getting smaller, the quality is not as good, and the prices are going up. The other day, I ordered a mondo burrito and it was half the size that they usually are. I even told the guy that was making it that it was the smallest burrito that I have ever seen, and that I was going to stop going there. He didn’t care. Is the economy getting so bad that we can’t even afford rice and beans? From now on, I will judge the economy by the size of burritos that I get. But not burritos from Taco Del Mar… screw that place!

I’m old.

Well… I finally did it. Starting January 1 2009, I will officially have health insurance. I didn’t want to do it, but I figured that since I’m making the big money now, I could afford to drop $64 a month on health insurance. I don’t think that I’ve had it for at least the last couple of years, and I’ve been pretty lucky so far, but since I’m getting old, I figured that it was about time to do it.

I know this is an old episode, but I just saw it tonight. Maybe you have to see the whole episode to get it, but I thought it was hilarious. The last 30 seconds are the best.

It’s officially winter beer season. I went to the store last night and they already had Redhook Winterhook, Full Sail Wassail, and Deschutes Jubelale. I’m sure all of the others will be out in a matter of weeks. Mmmm Snowcap, Ebineezer, Brown Shugga, Jolly Roger… I can hardly wait.

We got worked Tuesday night at trivia. At least we didn’t do as bad as Montlake Terrace.

I have a new favorite tv show. It’s called “Hole in the Wall”. Check it out.

I’m working on getting transferred back to my blogger page instead of this wordpress page that makes me enter my user name and password 5 x, every time I try to write something.

I just got my Season 3 DVD of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia in the mail yesterday. The new season starts next week. I can’t wait.

I’m house sitting for Nick and Jessie this week. Call me up, let’s have a party!
